As a kid, I wanted to develop a real-time 3D engine for a computer I had at the time, Sinclair ZX Spectrum. I saw what computer 3D graphics rendering engines can do in magazines and on TV. I knew I wanted to write one, even if my computer was slow by standards of the day and had poor graphics capabilities. It couldn't quite do what these computers did, but I wanted to see how far can I push it.

Around 25 years later, with many intervening distractions, but thanks to modern cross development tools and accurate emulators, I pulled it off...
